Gandaki Heroes and Himalayan Cricket Academy won the KP Oli Cup National Open T20 Cricket Tournament on Wednesday. Gandaki defeated Great Himalaya Cricket Academy and Himalayan defeated Chitwan Cricket Club in the match at Pokhara Rangshala Cricket Ground.

Gandaki Heroes defeated Great Himalaya by 10 wickets. Having a target of 103 runs, Gandaki scored 106 runs without losing a wicket in 12 overs. Opener Saqib Haque scored 53 runs. He hit 7 fours and 2 sixes in 43 balls. Arjun Kumal added 46 runs. He hit 9 fours in 29 balls. 

After losing the toss, Great Himalaya Cricket Academy started batting and scored 12 runs in 18.4 overs. Opener Ishan Pandey, who played 2 balls, could not score runs. Rupesh Kumar Srivastava scored the highest 21 runs for Great Himalaya. Uttamranghu Thapa Magar scored 18, Deepak Kewat 17, Abhishek Thapa 14, Sandeep Parajuli 7, Ashok Paudel 6, Chris Karki and Dinesh Budha Magar 4/4 and Chandrakant Paudel added 1 run. 

Krishna Poudel took 4 wickets, Amrit Gurung 3, Narayan Joshi 2 and Sudeep Aryal 1 wicket for Gandaki. This is Gandaki's second win. Gandaki beat Chitwan by 4 wickets in the previous match on Tuesday. This is the second defeat of the Great Himalayas. Earlier, they lost to Himalayan Cricket Academy by 2 wickets.

Himalayan Cricket Academy won by 6 wickets in the second match on Wednesday. Chasing a target of 119 runs, Himalayan scored 119 runs losing 4 wickets in 12.4 overs. In Himalayan's victory, Deepak Bohora gave a brilliant performance of 80 runs. He hit 8 fours and 5 sixes in 48 balls. Khadak Bohora scored 12 runs, Deepak Bohora 'B' and Himal Daulial scored 10/10 each and Sonu Devkota scored 2 runs.  For Chitwan, Dipesh Shrestha took 2 wickets, Kiran Gurung and Vishal Khatri took 1 each. 

Chitwan Cricket Club, who lost the toss and batted, were bowled out for 118 runs in 18.1 overs. Ashutosh Ghiraiya scored the highest 50 runs. He hit 6 fours and 2 sixes in 41 balls. Pratik Shrestha was caught out for 38 runs. He hit 3 fours and 3 sixes in 22 balls. Kamal Pariyar scored 8, Govind Wick 7, Vivek Rana Magar 5, Dipesh Shrestha 3, Roshan Jha 2, Gautam KC, Vishal Khatri and Suryansu Koirala scored 1 each. 

For Himalayan, Prakash Jaisi took 4 wickets with 11 runs in 4 overs. Deepak Chand took 3 wickets, Pratish JC and Deepak Bohora 'B' took 1/1 wicket each. This is Himalayan's second win and Chitwan's second loss. Himalayan defeated Himalayan Cricket Academy in the first match. Chitwan lost to Gandaki Heroes. 

Krishna Paudel of Gandaki and Prakash of Himalayan became the player of the match in the Wednesday match of the tournament organized by Madan Bhandari Sports Academy. They got a trophy award with 5/5 thousand rupees. 

After winning 2 games in a row, Gandaki Heroes and Himalayan are at the top of Group B with 4 points each. The winner of the match between the two teams on Thursday will enter the semi-finals. CEC Kathmandu has reached the semi-finals from Group 'A'.
