National Open Athletics Competition (Pokhara Athletics Meet) is going to be held in Pokhara on Chait 29 and 30 under the organization of District Athletics Association Kaski.

The South Asian Senior Athletics Championship will be held in Ranchi, India from May 3 to 5. The Secretary of the Association, Siddhant Adhikari, informed in a press conference held on Wednesday that there will be competition in 12 different categories in this competition, which has been recognized.  In the

competition, there will be competition for gold, silver and bronze medals. There will be 100m, 200m, 400m, 1500m race and 400m relay for men and women. Long jump, triple jump, high jump, shot put, discus throw, javelin throw and Kaski district level 100 meter race will be held on the field, said the secretary officer. In the

competition, gold, silver and bronze winners in all 12 categories will get prizes of Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively. The best female and male players will be given 10/10 thousand rupees as incentives. 

2 emerging players have also been given a special prize. However, the organizers have not revealed the prize. The secretary officer informed that Nepal Army, APF, Nepal Police, Lumbini, Gandaki, Koshi and other teams will participate in the competition. According to him, schools, campuses, organizations and individuals can also participate. Organizers estimate that 240 players will participate in the tournament.
