The sixth edition of Jumla-Rara Ultra Marathon will be held on Baisakh 27. Jumla-Rara Ultra Marathon has been held every year to encourage the sports field of Karnali and to raise the morale of the athletes.

Karnali Sports Club has announced that the marathon will be held on 27th Baisakh after holding a press conference. Jumla-Rara Ultra Marathon, which is being held at a distance of 49 km, will be held at a distance of 51 km from this year. Saroj Shahi, president of the club, said that the route from Khali to Nyaurighat has also been changed. President Shahi said, "This year's marathon will not be easy to run but will also promote walking from Jumla to Rara." Like last year, Jumla-Rara Ultra Marathon has been organized as the second and final selection competition to select athletes from Nepal for this year's Asia Trail Masters.  The first qualifying competition Manjushree Trail Race was held in Kathmandu last month.

The winner of this competition will be able to compete in the finals of the Asia Trail Masters to be held in Muchang Chai, Vietnam in September, according to the organizer.

Hari Bahadur Rokay, a record runner who is coming through Jumla-Rara Marathon to establish a new identity for Karnali by rising above disease and indulgence. He said, "This marathon is not only a way to run, but it has become a powerful way to introduce the beauty and identity of Karnali to the world." There will be four check points in the marathon from Jumla to Rara. Athletes will be welcomed and welcomed in the markets and villages along the race route. President Shahi said that the athletes and management staff who will participate in the marathon will be insured for an accident worth Rs. 2 lakh.

Jumla-Rara Ultra Marathon is aimed at getting more than 1000 people to participate. Players are expected to come from Britain, Netherlands, India, Italy and America every year. This year too, there will be an honorable presence of foreign athletes in the marathon. In the

marathon, the first person will be given one lakh rupees, the second one will get 75 thousand rupees and the third one will get 50 thousand rupees. The organizers estimate that the marathon project will cost 25 lakh 74 thousand rupees. There will be a 5 km race for the open side and a 10 km race for the students. 22 participants in the

marathon will be rewarded with cash. It has been arranged that the athletes who will participate in the marathon will register online through QR and eSeva.
