Himalayan Sherpa Club Jitpursimra has entered the semi-finals in the Jitpur Simra 15th Gold Cup competition held on Monday. In the 'A' Division competition held under flood lights at Simra Rangshala, they surprised Friends Club by 1-0 and managed to reach the semi-finals.

With this match on Monday, the semi-final equation of the 15th edition has been completed . Himalayan Sherpa will face the host Nav Janajagriti Yuva Club on Wednesday to enter the final. Machindra Football Club will have to compete against Chitwan's Hanami BFC Bharatpur in the first semi-final on Tuesday evening.

The goal scored by Indian player Robert Khongjo on behalf of Himalayan in the 9th minute of the game confirmed the victory of Himalayan Sherpa . Friends' goal keeper Vikesh Kuthu, who fell while stopping Robert's first shot at Binu Ale Magar's pass, was able to score again on the rebound ball. 

Friends, who performed an excellent game, had to leave the competition after missing the finish . In the sixth minute of the game, Friends' Vishal Thakuri lost the position of one versus one. Laxman Ruchal's pass was advanced by Vishal from inside the debox. But when his shot was narrow, Himalayan Sherpa's goal keeper Vivash Chaudhary got a chance to stop it.  In the 44th minute of the

game, Sushil Lama's next shot was a failure. Sushil's strong shot from inside the box was saved by Himalayan Sherpa's goalkeeper. Taking the opportunity of Man Bahadur Rana's miss pass of Himalayan Sherpa, Sushil created a great opportunity .
