Midfielder Renuka Nagarkote of the Nepali women's football team was honored with the Kshetra Pratap Adhikari Yuva Protshaan Award-2081 on Monday.
Renuka was given the honor at the NCM Day program organized by Gurukul Educational Foundation Nepal. He was awarded 50,000 in cash. In the
program, Aman Pratap Adhikari, the son of Kshetra Pratap, honored Renuka as an "unseen hero" and said that both her performance on the sports field and the difficult struggle of life will be a great inspiration for future generations.
