Rajan Subba and Shekhar Shrestha have reached the finals of the 2nd National Open Junior and Veteran Table Tennis Tournament over 60 years of age in men's singles. Rajan defeated Ananda Ratna Dhakwa 3-0 and Shekhar defeated Ashok Sharma 3-0 in straight sets.
In the competition being held at the National Table Tennis Training Center, 4 junior and 3 veteran categories are being contested. Tournament coordinator Dharmaman Vajracharya said that 250 players are participating in the tournament which will last till March 28.
Top three players in each category will receive prizes of 10,000, 5,000 and 2,500 rupees respectively.
