CEC (Cricket Excellence Centre) Kathmandu has entered the semi-finals of the second edition of the KP Oli Cup T-20 National Open Men's Cricket Tournament. Kathmandu reached the semi-finals from Group 'A' after winning by 9 wickets against Pokhara Metropolitan Cricket Club in the match at Pokhara Cricket Ground on Monday.

Kathmandu completed the target of 54 runs given by Pokhara in 4 overs and 2 balls. Kathmandu lost 1 wicket and scored 57 runs. Rit Gautam scored the most 36 runs in Kathmandu's victory. He hit 4 fours and 3 sixes in 15 balls. Dipendra Rawat remained not out for 19 runs and Shivam Tiwari for 2 runs. Dipendra hit 2 sixes and 1 four in 8 balls. Subas Bastola of Pokhara took 1 wicket. 

Pokhara, who won the toss and chose to bat, scored 53 runs in 17 overs and were bowled out. This is Pokhara's third consecutive defeat. Kabin Sapkota scored the most 12 runs for Pokhara. Kabin hit 1 four off 20 balls. Apart from him, other players could not score double-digit runs. Ashesh Neupane 9, Bishnu Prasad Sharma 5, Sahil Poudel 4, Pramod Bastola, Abhinav Shah and Marsal Baral scored 3/3 runs each. Sumit Shrestha and Anjan KC added 2 runs each. Subas Bastola, who played 3 balls, could not score a run. 

KP Oli Cup Cricket: Kathmandu enters the semi-finals Unishvikram Singh Thakuri and Dipendra Rawat took 3/3 wickets for Kathmandu. Surya Tamang took 2 wickets, Manoj Yadav and Ahok Bohora took 1 each. Dipendra became the player of the match. He has received a trophy award with 5 thousand rupees.  After winning 3 consecutive matches in the

competition, Kathmandu reached the semi-finals with 6 points. Kathmandu defeated Hetaunda Sports Academy in the first match and Syangja Cricket Club in the second match.
