The Nepali team went to Thimphu, Bhutan on Monday to participate in the Four Nations Cup Boxing Tournament. Lal Prasad Upreti and Chandra Bahadur Thapa will compete in the men's under 48 kg weight group and Chandra Bahadur Thapa in the under 51 kg weight group.

National Sports Council Member-Secretary Tanklal Ghising bid farewell to the team on Monday.

In the same competition, Buxmandu Boxing Gym has also sent 3 players. General Secretary Man Bahadur Bhandari said that Boxmandu is going to participate players with the approval of Boxing Federation.
Men's under 51 kg Laxman Rai, under 57 kg Prabal Upreti and under 60 kg Chhiring Wangdi Sherpa will participate. The coaches are Umesh Katuwal and Sandeep Shrestha.
Both teams will participate in the training camp in Thimphu from April 8 to 10.
