Nepal has won 6 medals including 2 gold in the 16th World Yogasana Championship. Nepal also won 1 silver and 3 bronze.

Prayasjung Chauhan in the 9-11 age group and Pratyusha Khatiwada in the 12-14 age group won gold in the competition held on March 23 and 24 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Amish Patel won silver medal in 9-11 years age group. In the same age group, Kiran Magar and Sanskriti Chaulagai and Sundar Sarki in the 15-17 age group got bronze medals.

153 players from 23 countries participated in the championship, 31 players from Nepal participated.
