In the opening match of the 4th Mills Cup Indo-Nepal T20 cricket tournament organized by Mills Cricket Club and Academy, Biratnagar, the home team Horizon Cricket Club defeated the visiting team of India Prashant Cricket Club (Jogwani) by a huge margin of 107 runs on Saturday.
After winning the toss and deciding to bat first at the Mills Stadium, Horizon lost 7 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs and made a huge total of 219 runs. Meenash Thapa, the team's all-rounder, scored 52 runs off 40 balls. Abhishek Karki scored 46 off 15 balls, Firdos Ansari contributed 41 runs and Atal Sah contributed 32 runs.
While chasing the target of 220 runs in the reply, the Indian team was bowled out for 112 runs in 14.1 overs. Apart from Aman Raj scoring 28 runs and Aditya Raj scoring 17 runs, other players could not score double figures. In front of the Horizon bowlers, the players of the visiting team returned to the pavilion. National player Dipesh Kandel took 3 wickets.
Another national players Firdos Ansari and Meenash Thapa took 2/2 wickets. Destroyed the batting line of the opposing team. Meenas, who played a half-century innings, became the 'Player of the Match'. He got 3 thousand 100 cash prize.

Six and a half dozen teams from India have participated in the competition organized in conjunction with the State Sports Development Board. The final of the competition will be held on the 30th of Chait.
