Nepal Sitorio Karate Do Sangha Prabhupokhari Dojo is going to hold Shaheed Sagar Singh and Gyan Bahadur Shahi Memorial Karate Tournament.

Coordinator Gopal Maharjan informed that around 600 players will participate in the tournament which will start on Monday. Competition will be held in 11-11 categories in single kata and kumite for men/women.

35 teams from Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kavre and Sindhupalchok districts will participate, said Bikas Maharjan, the trainer of the organizing dojo.

Member of Parliament of Bagmati Province Ramakrishna Chitrakar said that the competition is important to organize young players and show respect to martyrs. Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Chiribabu Maharjan thanked the organizers for organizing the competition in memory of the martyrs who gave their lives for the country. The two-day tournament will be played at Adarsh ​​Kanya Niketan in Mangalbazar.
