Bhimnarayan Gold Cup: Departmental team APF and Belbari will meet for the semi-finals

Departmental team APF Club and Belbari Football Club Morang are going to face each other in the last quarter final match of the 17th edition of Shahid Bhimnarayan Gold Cup which is going on in Dhankuta today (Wednesday).

Both teams will face each other for the semi-final trip in the match to be played at 4 o'clock in Lower Tundikhel. It is expected that the match between both the strong teams will be competitive. 

On Thursday, the organizer said that the semi-final match between Namobuddha and Birthamod United will be held. Birtamod is also the defending champion of Bhimnarayan Gold Cup. Likewise, the winner of the departmental team APF Club and Belbari Football Club and Gaighat Football Club will meet in the semi-finals on Wednesday. The second semi-final match will be held on Friday. 

Saptari's Namobuddha Youth Club secured the place by winning the first day's match. Similarly, on the second day, Gaighat defeated Boys' Football Club Itahari and made it to the semi-finals, while on the third day, Birtamod Club secured the semi-finals from the quarter-finals. Birtamod defeated Chitlang Football Club Kathmandu and entered the semi-finals. 

The winner will get a cash prize of 5 lakh rupees and the runner-up will get a trophy medal, cup and certificate along with 2 lakh 50 thousand rupees. Similarly, the highest scorer, man of the match and best player will also get cash prizes.
