National Basketball Championship winner Times Basketball Club will compete in the Sabah Club Championship.

Saba Championship will be held from 21st to 25th Chait at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Madras, India. Along with Nepal, the league champion teams from hosts India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bhutan will participate. Sabah Club Championship is going to be held for the first time.

Times will face Sri Lanka's Colombo BC in the first match. It is said that Times College will bear all the expenses of the

team. Sadish Pradhan, a member of the Times and captain of the national team, has said that the preparation is satisfactory as he has been training since the national championship.

President of Nepal Basketball Association Bhimsingh Gurung discussed the important contribution of Times in the development of basketball in Nepal. He bid farewell to the team and wished them success. Chairman Gurung, General Secretary Narendra Thapa, Times Board of Directors Sujan Aryal and Vishnu Pandey bid farewell to the Times team. The team will go to India on Monday.

Times Basketball team consists of Navinder Bhandari (Captain), Sadish Pradhan, Vijay Burja, Manish KC, Suraj Khadgi, Shreyash Bahadur Shahi, Adrit Bahadur Shahi, Kamal Thapa, Chiring Thinley.
