The first Deputy Mayor's Cup knockout football tournament is going to be held in Butwal.

Through a press conference organized by the organizers twenty seventy five youth families on Friday, they informed that eight other teams will participate in the game with a prize money of 1 lakh. Secretary of the organization Deepak Gurung said that apart from Rupandehi, teams from Sunwal Municipality, Birgunj Youth Academy, Basant United Club Chitwan, Hetaunda Football Academy, Rising Star Youth Club Kapilvastu, Walling and MSC India will compete in the

game. According to him, the participating teams will field players including national players. The game of the

competition will be held at the Siddheshwari Lalkumari High School in Butwal. The runner-up of the game will receive 50,000 rupees. He said that the best player of the competition will get 25,000 rupees and the best player in the category will get 10,000 rupees. The competition will run till 30 March. Butwal  The sub-metropolitan city has helped. Gurung said that the expenses are expected to be high as the team coming from outside will be given accommodation and food facilities.
