Sankata Club won 4-0 against Georgian Football Club Kalimpong India in the 23rd Tilottama Gold Cup Football on Monday.
Srijanraj Gautam alone scored all the goals in Sankata's victory at the ANFA Technical Center ground in Devinagar.
The 19th edition winners Sankata will play the semi-finals against the departmental team APF Club to reach the finals. APF has reached the last four after defeating the host Rupandehi-11 by 1-0.
Srijan scored in the 42nd minute of the game and gave Sankata the lead. He hit the ball with his left foot in a pass that was mixed by Nirmal Ghising and went straight to the goal post. After scoring only one goal in the first half, Sankata added three more goals in the final moments of the second half. Srijan scored a solo effort in the 86th minute to double the lead. Suraj Tharu's pass led Srijan to score when the goalkeeper stepped forward.
He then scored the remaining two goals in injury time. The Georgian goalkeeper came out of the box to clear Janmjay Dhami's shot. However, after controlling the ball which could not be cleared well, Srijan scored at the empty post and completed the hat-trick. Two minutes later, he took the ball from a Georgian player in the middle and scored a goal with a forward ball. He was declared man of the match. He received 11 thousand 111 rupees.
Machindra FC and Adorn Gadwal Sporting Club will compete on Tuesday in the last quarter-final.
