The 4th Dandabazar Gold Cup football tournament is going to be held in Dhankuta's Sangurigarhi. It was informed through a press conference in Bhedetar on Tuesday that the Dandabazar Gold Cup tournament will be held from 17th to 20th of Baisakh at the Dandabazar football ground.

The tournament will be organized by Dandabazaar Football Club with the support of Sangurigarhi Rural Municipality and the co-organization of Jung Bahadur Thapa Memorial Fund Brotherhood. 

Rajkumar Limbu, President of Dandabazar Football Club, said that the tournament will be organized with the main slogan of 'Dandabazar Ko San: Identity through Sports and Tourism'. The winner of the competition will receive three lakhs in cash and a trophy. Similarly, the runner-up will get a trophy with cash of 1 lakh 55 thousand. prize money has been increased by 50,000 rupees compared to the previous year. 8 teams including Dharan, Morang, Udaipur will participate in the tournament along with the organizer Dandabazar Club.
