Sovitman Buddhacharya (driver) and Susin Lama (navigator) have won the men's category in the Pokhara Motor Rally organized by the Gandaki Automobiles Association.
Suman Bijukche and Rozina Ranjit Bijukche got the second place, while Sunil Shrestha and Anil Shrestha were in the third place. Tisa Joshi and Regina Shrestha won in the women's category. Romika Buddhacharya and Chirayu Sherchan stood second and Shobha KC and Saroj Kayastha stood third.
motor rally was conducted by marshals of Nepal Automobiles Association and trained marshals from Training Commission. Shiv Shrestha, chairman of the organizer Gandaki Automobiles Association, said that the competition has helped in the promotion of tourism in Pokhara as well as provided an opportunity to highlight the talent of motorsports.
Minister of Social Development, Youth and Sports of Gandaki Province Bindu Kumar Thapa inaugurated the event. There were 73 competitors in the motor rally. 53 male and 20 female drivers participated in it.
