Nepal's number one player Prince Dahal has won the title in the 3rd National Badminton Tournament in Butwal on Saturday.

He won the men's singles title. Prince defeated APF's Kshitij Khanal in the singles final. Army's Himal Chand and APF's Devraj Rana came third. In

doubles, APF's Bhoj Bahadur Gurung and Pranish Singh Thakuri won the title. They beat Balram Chhetri and Vivek Neupane of Lafa Badminton Club. Army's Pravin Linthep and Legislative Officer and Himal Chand and Santosh Paneru came third.

Veterans Over 45 Lafa's Raju Gurung and Sudeep Yonjan pair won the title by defeating Buddhi Chaudhary and Dil Bahadur Kandangwa of Badminton Club in Tilotta. Balram Panthi and Khagendra of New Lambini Club and Prem Gurung and Vishnulal Shrestha of Tanneri Badminton Club came third.

Super veterans over 55 years pair of Anil Lakhe and Shambhukumar Shrestha won the title by defeating Kaski's Raju Gupta and Rajendra Wagle. Dilip Gauchan and Mahesh Nepal of Butwal Badminton Club and Ravi Hona and Indra Thapa of PSBC came third. Masters Veterans 60-year-old Prem Prasad Gurung and Vishnulal Shrestha from Tanneri Badminton Club won the title by defeating Dil Pun and Shyamakrishna Shrestha from their own club. Purnachandra Joshi and Sureshchandra Shrestha from Kathmandu and Ganesh Chhetri and Mahendra Shrestha from Bhairahawa came third.

Men's singles and doubles winners, second and third runners-up received Rs 50,000, 30,000 and 10,000 respectively. Above 45 years, the first, second and third received 40, 30 and 10,000 respectively, above 55 years, first, second and third received 25, 15 and 5,000 respectively, above 60 years, the first received 15,000, the second received 10,000 and the third received 5,000.
