Letang Football Club has reached the final of the 5th Mills Gold Cup football tournament. Letang reached the final after defeating home team Pema Yuva Sporting Club 6-3 in the semi-final at Jute Mill Ground in Biratnagar. On Sunday, Letang will compete against Fusion Football Club Gaighat of Udaipur for the title.

From Letang, Sougat Rai scored 2 goals, Vivek Rai, Anup Magar, Sandeep Magar and Kiran Shankar scored 1 each. Nishant Rai, Roshan Rai and Pranish Neupane scored 1 each for Pema. In the fourth minute, Pema's Nishant scored and gave the team the lead. 

Before 5 minutes passed, Pema's Roshan Rai scored in the ninth minute and doubled the lead. This lead lasted only until the first half. After Letang trailed 2-0 in the 9th minute, the aggressive play stopped. After that, Letang's player Vivek Rai scored in the 23rd minute with a pass from Pujan Chaudhary. In the 32nd minute of the game, Anup scored another goal and tied the game. Till the first half, the score was 2-2. After the second half, Letang played aggressively. 

In the 57th minute, Sandeep Magar doubled the lead. Kiran Shankar scored in the 65th minute and Letang made it 4-3. In the 70th minute, Sougat's shot from inside the box turned into a goal. Soon after, Pranish Neupane of Pema reduced the lead by scoring a goal. In the 78th minute of the game, Letang's Sougat added a goal to ensure the victory. 

player of the match was Kiran Shankar of Letang. He got 2,100. The winner of the Mills Gold Cup Football Trust will receive Rs 100,000 and the runner-up will receive Rs 51,000.
