In the joint project of Kaski District Volleyball Association and Srijana Development Center, the Srijana Cup Community School Level Volleyball Tournament will be held in Pokhara from March 26.

The organizer informed through a press conference on Thursday that the tournament will be held at the Volleyball Training Center at Pokhara Stadium from Chait 26 to 28 for the purpose of player production. Bishnu Bahadur Gurung, president of the Kaski District Volleyball Association informed that students up to class 12 studying in public schools can participate in the competition.  For the students of the

competition, the winning school will be awarded 1 lakh, runner-up 60,000, and third-placed 35,000 rupees, along with a medal and certificate. President Gurung informed that the winner of the female category will receive 75,000 rupees, the runner-up will receive 50,000 rupees, and the third place winner will receive 25,000 rupees along with a medal and certificate.  5/5 thousand rupees and a trophy will be given to the student/girl player who excels in the

competition. 1/1 volleyball will be awarded to the best players in 5 categories. Organizers estimate that 50 teams will participate in the competition.   Bishnu Prasad Baral, chairman of Srijana Development Center, said that it is estimated that 11 lakh 49 thousand rupees will be spent to conduct the

competition. According to him, it is estimated that 12 lakh 50 thousand income and 1 lakh 1 thousand rupees will be saved from the competition. 

Srijana Development Center, established in 2003, has operated a children's home in Pokhara Metropolitan City-17. President Baral informed that 17 children are currently dependent in the orphanage.
