Dipendra Rawat's all-round performance saw Karnali defeat Lumbini Pradesh in the Prime Minister's Cup Men's One Day National Cricket Tournament at Rupandehi. Karnali defeated the home team Lumbini by 5 runs in the match held at Siddharth Cricket Stadium in Bhairahawa on Thursday. This is Karnali's third win.
Chasing the winning target of 206 runs given by Karnali, Lumbini was bowled out in 49.4 overs and wrapped up in 200 runs. Although Prajwal Thapa contributed the most 84 runs for Lumbini, it was not enough for the victory. Facing 107 balls, Thapa hit 6 fours. Captain Dev Khanal scored 40 runs off 60 balls with the help of four fours. Akash Tripathi 21 and Manish Thapa were dismissed for 16 runs. In

bowling, Lumbini's Ramesh Kurmi took the most three wickets. Bowling hard, he kept four maidens in 10 overs and cost only 37 runs. Similarly, Biprasan KC, Ajay Chauhan and Nirmal Gurung took two wickets each, leaving one wicket for captain Dev Khanal.
