Lumbini set a target of 117 runs to Sudurpaschim Province on Wednesday in the Prime Minister's Cup One Day Men's National Cricket Tournament in Rupandehi.

After winning the toss, Lumbini scored 116 runs losing all wickets in 44.1 overs at the Extratech Oval cricket ground in Tilottama. 41 runs scored by captain Dev Khanal for Lumbini was the highest individual score. 

While Prajwal Thapa scored 30 runs, no other player could score double-digit runs. Two players were dismissed for zero runs. Hemant Dhami of Sudupashchim took the most four wickets. 

He spent 26 runs keeping a maiden in 9 overs. Saurya Shrestha, Sher Malla and Milan Bohra took 2 wickets each. Shrestha bowled 10 overs and kept three maidens, costing 27 runs.

Having won four out of the previous five matches, Lumbini Province is in the top three of the points table. He has 8 points. The weak Far West is in the eighth place in the table with 2 points. Sudoor, who lost in four out of the previous five matches, defeated Gandaki Pradesh in one match.
