Sudurpaschim defeated Lumbini Pradesh in the ongoing Prime Minister's Cup cricket tournament in Rupandehi. Sudurpaschim defeated Lumbini by 5 wickets in the match held on Wednesday at the Extratech Oval ground in Tilottama.
Sudurpaschim completed the target of 117 runs given by Lumbini by losing 5 wickets in 31.1 overs. This is the second victory of Far West. Earlier, Sudurpaschim had defeated Gandaki province. Kiran Thagunna contributed an unbeaten 43 runs for Sudur. He hit 4 fours and 2 sixes in 43 balls.
Captain Narayan Joshi remained unbeaten on 25 runs. Prakash Pandey scored 22 runs and Khadak Bohra scored 11 runs. Ramesh Kurmi took 2 wickets for Lumbini. Nirmal Gurung, Ajay Chauhan, Biprashan KC took one wicket each.
