Bagmati and Karnali won the Prime Minister's Cup One Day Men's National Cricket Tournament in Rupandehi.

Bagmati defeated Gandaki by 69 runs and Karnali defeated Koshi by 127 runs in the match held on Tuesday at Siddharth Cricket Ground in Bhairawa. 

After chasing the target of 289 runs given by Bagmati, Gandaki was bowled out for 219 runs in 44 overs. Vance Chhetri scored a half-century of 55 runs for Gandaki. Sameer Kandel scored 26, Amrit Gurung got out after scoring 20 runs. Deepak Dumre and Kamal Pariyar contributed the same 19/19 runs while Subas Bhandari scored 18 unbeaten runs.  Ishan Pandey of Bagmati took 4 wickets in

bowling. He bowled 6 overs and spent 27 runs. Sakar Gajurel got 2 wickets and Rijn Dhakal, Gautam KC and Surya Tamang took 1/1 wicket each. 

After losing the toss, Bagmati, who batted first, scored 288 runs after losing 8 wickets in the scheduled over. Isaan Pandey played a half century innings of 69 runs for Bagmati. He hit 4 fours in 82 balls. Vipin Acharya contributed an unbeaten 63 runs. Acharya faced 42 balls and hit 7 fours and 2 sixes. 

Similarly, Shubh Kansakar scored 52 runs in 51 balls with the help of 9 fours. Vivek Magar scored 34 runs while Region Dhakal added 23 runs not out. Opener Asutosh Ghiraiah scored 14 runs while captain Prithu Baskota was dismissed for 16 runs.  Arjun Kumal alone took 4 wickets for Gandaki in

bowling. He spent 40 runs keeping 1 maiden in 7 overs. Bipin Khatri and Subas Bhandari took 2 wickets each. After this result, Bagmati has risen to the sixth position in the points table. He has lost three out of five and won two games to score four points. With the defeat, Gandaki province has dropped to eighth place in the table. Gandaki has only 2 points after winning one out of five and losing four games. 

Similarly, Karnali defeated Koshi by 127 runs in the match held on Tuesday at Extratech Oval ground in Tilottama. Chasing the target of 219 runs given by Karnali for victory, Koshi was reduced to 91 runs in 35 overs losing all wickets. Chirag Sah scored the highest 25 for Koshi. Apart from Shakib Haque scoring 13 runs and captain Ankit Subedi scoring 10 runs, none of the players could score runs in double figures. Sunil Dhamala and Dipendra Rawat of Karnali took 3 wickets each to cover Koshi cheaply. Dhamala kept 3 maidens in 10 overs and only 14 runs were spent. Dewan Pun got 2 wickets while Anuj Chanara got 1 wicket. 

Karnali, who batted first, lost all the wickets in the scheduled over and made a total of 218 runs. Arjun Gharti contributed an unbeaten 88 runs for Karnali. He hit 11 fours and 2 sixes in 95 balls. He was declared the player of the match. Himansu Shahi scored 46 runs while Nischal Rawal returned to the pavilion with 20 runs. 

Similarly, Prakash Jaishi contributed 18 runs, Sunil Dhamala 13 and Bipin Rawal contributed 10 runs. On the bowling side, Bipin Mahato took 3 wickets for Koshi. Dipesh Kandel and Prakash Karki picked up 2 wickets each. Hearing aids proved to be expensive. He spent 45 runs taking just one wicket in 6 overs. Sujan Thapalia got one wicket. 

With this result, Karnali has risen to the fifth place in the points table. He has 4 points from 5 games. Koshi Pradesh, which suffered its fifth consecutive defeat, is at the bottom of the table. Koshi has only 2 points.  As part of the

competition, a competition between the departmental team Nepal Police Club and Gandaki Pradesh will be held on Wednesday at Siddharth Cricket Stadium in Bhairawa. The match between these two teams will start at 9 am. In the next match, Sudoorpaschim and Lumbini Pradesh will meet at Xtratech Oval ground.
