Lumbini State and Madhesh State teams are competing on Sunday as part of the Prime Minister's Cup ODI Men's Cricket Tournament 2081 in Lamhi.
A match is being played between two provincial teams today at the Deukhuri International Cricket Stadium in Lamhi. Madhesh Pradesh won the toss and started bowling. In the PM men's cricket tournament held for the first time in Dang, the match between Lumbini, which is ranked fourth in the points table, and Madhesh Pradesh, which is ranked fifth, is very interesting. Lumbini had earlier defeated Koshi Pradesh by 26 runs. After losing to Nepal Police Club by 87 runs, Lumbini defeated Gandaki Pradesh by 14 runs and Wagmati Pradesh by 48 runs.
Similarly, Madhesh Pradesh defeated Koshi Pradesh by 165 runs. The departmental team lost by 2 wickets to APF Club and by 193 runs to Nepal Police Club.
By winning today's match, Lumbini Province wants to remain in the top four of the points table, while Madhesh Province wants to improve the points table by beating Lumbini at the same home ground by breaking the losing streak.
The captaincy of Lumbini Province has been handled by Dev Khanal, who has been the captain of the national team under the age of 19, while the captaincy of Madhesh Province has been handled by Anil Kumar Sah, a reliable batter of the national team and an experienced player who made a comeback from the last edition of the PM Cup.

3 departmental teams Army Club, APF Club and Nepal Police Club along with seven provincial teams are playing the tournament from February 25th in Rupandehi and Dang of Lumbini Province .
As part of the tournament being held in three sports grounds, 17 matches are being played at Siddharth Stadium in Rupandehi, 15 matches are being played at Extratech Oval Cricket Ground and 14 matches are being played at Deukhuri International Cricket Stadium in Lamhi, Dang. In which 20 matches have been played till Sunday.
