Trishuli Ultra Race is going to be organized by Nepal Adventure Running Federation. With the main support of Provincial Sports Development Council, Bagmati, the federation has announced that it will organize an ultra race starting from Belkotgarhi in Nuwakot on 23rd Chait.
In a press conference held on Sunday in Nuwakot's Vidur Municipality, Federation President Ekendra Bahadur Kunwar said that 300 national, international and local players will participate in the competition.
The winner of the competition, which will be conducted in two categories, male and female, will receive one lakh rupees, the second runner-up will receive Rs.
The race will start from the Niranjana Bhagwati temple complex at Belkotgarhi in Nuwakot and will pass through Old Stairway, Malkot, Shera, Muralitar, Nuwakot Darbar, Darigounda, Falate, Dandagaon, Gerkhu Shanti Kalyan School, Chaptar, Keraghari, Betravati, Solepul, Tupche, Trishuli Hospital, Panchkanya Temple Stairs, Charghare, Ranbhuveshwari School, It will end by reaching the holy shrine, Devighat Bazar through Devighat bridge.
Interested players can register through Nepal Adventure Running Federation Satdobato, Nuwakot District Sports Development Committee, Belkot Youth Club, Hotel Janak Tripureshwar and online. Rajan Khatri, the tournament coordinator informed that the support of Belkotgarhi Municipality, Vidur Municipality, Likhu Rural Municipality, Suryagarhi Rural Municipality, Uttargaya Rural Municipality, Nuwakot District Sports Development Committee, Rasuwa District Sports Development Committee will be supported. According to the federation, 32 lakh 51 thousand rupees will be spent for organizing the
competition and the cost will be raised with the help of Bagmati province and the private sector. Nuwakot District Development Committee Chairman Vijay Gurung, Rasuwa District Development Committee Chairman Viraj Lopchan, Nepal Adventure Running Federation Secretary Ravindra Thapa and others were present at the press conference.
