Lumbini Province and Bagmati Province will face off on Sunday as part of the Prime Minister's Cup ODI Men's Cricket Tournament 2081 in Lamhi.
The match between the two provincial teams has started on the eighth day today at the Deukhuri International Cricket Stadium in Lamhi. Lumbini won the toss and started batting.
In PM Men's Cricket Tournament held for the first time in Dang, it is expected that the match between Lumbini, which is ranked fourth in the points table, and Bagmati Pradesh, which is ranked ninth, will be competitive.
The captaincy of Lumbini province has been taken over by Dev Khanal, who has been the captain of the national team under the age of 19, while the captaincy of Bagmati province has been taken over by experienced player Prithu Baskota .
Along with captain Khanal, Lumbini has players like Krishna Karki, Sushant Thapa, Mrinal Gurung, Ajay Chauhan, Akash Tripathi, wicket keeper Prajwal Thapa, Nirmal Gurung, Nar Sarki, Ramesh Kurmi, Veer Magar.

Similarly, Bagmati Pradesh beat Sudurpaschim Pradesh by 55 runs, Derby lost to APF Club by 100 runs and Tribhuvan Army Club by 134 runs.

3 departmental teams Army Club, APF Club and Nepal Police Club along with seven provincial teams are playing the tournament from February 25th in Rupandehi and Dang of Lumbini Province .
The matches of the tournament which started simultaneously at Siddharth Cricket Stadium and Extratech Oval ground in Rupandehi are being held on the basis of round robin . Each team will play one other team. 14 games are scheduled to be played in Dang during the competition which will last till 16th of Chait.
