Rautahat Football Club shocked Nepal Police Club in the National Women's Football Tournament. On the second day of the tournament at the Krishnapur Sports Ground in Bharatpur on Sunday, Rautahat defeated Police 1-0 with a single goal by Anita Ranamar and entered the semi-finals.

Anita scored the goal in the 31st minute of the game. Police played aggressively but Rautahat goalkeeper Usha Thapa thwarted every shot. Usha was the player of the match and received 10,000 rupees. Tribhuvan Armory Football Club and Bagmati Youth Club Sarlahi will face each other on Monday. Eight teams are participating in the competition organized by Chitwan District Football Association and promoted by Bharatpur Metropolitan Corporation. The

winner will receive a trophy of 3 lakh rupees and the runner-up will receive a cash prize of 1 lakh 50 thousand rupees. The best player will get 40,000 rupees, the best in the category will get 20,000 rupees. In the opening match on Saturday, Bharatpur-24 defeated ANFA Makwanpur.
