In the Indo-Nepal T-20 cricket tournament, Thunder-11 defeated the host Bahundangi Cricket Club by 76 runs and entered the final.
After losing the toss and batting first at Saraswati Mavi's playground in Mechinagar-4 Bahundangi, Thunder lost all wickets in 19.5 overs and made a huge total of 205 runs. In which Rohit Rajwanshi contributed the most 73 runs for Thunder. Special Budhathoki contributed 28 runs, Chandra Bhattarai 24 and Virat Dangi 20 runs. On the
bowling side, Bahundangi's Ayush Dahal and Santosh Pradhan took 3 wickets each. Nazir Hussain took 2 wickets and Raman Karki and Niroth Roy took 1 wicket each.
Chasing a target of 206 runs, Bahundangi lost all wickets in 20 overs and managed to score only 129 runs. Rajesh Thapa of Bahundangi scored 46 runs, Ganesh Paudel added 17 runs and Ayush Dahal added 14 runs. On the
bowling side, Thunder's Virat Dangi, Shiv Rajvanshi and Elite Rai took 2 wickets each. Thunder's Rohit Rajvanshi was declared the best player of the
competition. He received 1,000 in cash and a token of love.
The final of this competition, which started on February 21st, will be held on March 4th. Jeevan Mote, chairman of the organizing committee, said that there will be competition between the two visiting teams for the title.
