In the 25th edition of the Budhasubba Gold Cup football tournament, the organizers have made a profit of 660,000 rupees. The organizer Dharan Football Club held a press conference on Sunday and released the income and expenditure details of the Gold Cup and said that there is still 1.5 million rupees left to be paid to the Gold Cup.

Pratap Tamang, president of the club, informed that the profit will increase further if the outstanding amount is received. It is reported that 66 lakh 99 thousand 150 rupees were earned in the competition and 66 lakh 40 thousand 100 rupees were spent. President Tamang informed that since all the ward offices of Dharan sub-metropolitan city have 7 lakh rupees, 5 lakh rupees from All Nepal Football Association ANFA and 3 lakh rupees from the National Sports Council, 21 lakh 60 thousand rupees will be saved.  According to the club, the maximum support of 20 lakh rupees has been received from Dharanes abroad and various organizations there to complete the

competition. Tamang said that Rs 9 lakh was received from Dharan sub-metropolitan office and Rs 5 lakh from Koshi Province Sports Development Board. The club had expected an estimated income of Rs 1 crore 2 lakh 25 thousand while organizing the 25th Budhasubba Gold Cup. He estimated the expenditure to be 80 lakh 10 thousand. However, the club reported that the profit has decreased due to the reduction of Rs. In the last edition, the club had a profit of 1.7 million more. New Road Team NRT won the title of Gold Cup held from January 24 to 26 and received 10 lakh rupees in cash and the runner-up Church Boys United received 5 lakh rupees.
