Unity's Priyansu Chhetri and APF Club's Bhoj Bahadur Gurung have reached the men's singles quarterfinals of the 3rd Yalambar Nationwide Open Badminton Tournament.

In the tournament organized by Nakhipot Youth Club and co-organized by Nakhipot Badminton Circle, Priyansu defeated Kavir KC of Police 21-19, 21-12 and Bhoj defeated Himanshu Magar of Tandoori House in straight sets 21-16, 21-9.

In men's singles, Dhading's Sujan Thapa beat Devinagar's Saksham Dhakal 18-21, 21-6, 21-14, Kailali's Roshan Saud beat Fitness Park's Aman Dangol 21-16, 21-15, Police's Hira Rai beat Kailali's Shishir Rana 20-22, 21-12, 21-6, Army's Vivek Chaudhary beat Army's Laxman Rana Magar. 17-21, 21-19, 21-13, APF's Kshitij Khanal defeated Devinagar's Vivish Thapa 21-6, 21-6 and APF's Pranish Singh Thakuri defeated Police's Purna Thapa in 19-21, 21-13, 23-21 sets. 

In men's doubles, Army's Legislative Officer and Praveen Lingthep, Balkumari Remix Club's Diprasmani Vajracharya and Raman Maharjan, Dhading's Ram Mall Thakuri and Sujan Thapa, Army's Vivek Chaudhary and Tandoori's Himanshu Magar, Balkumari's Sumit Maharjan and Suman Shakya, Host Club's Nelson Rai and Sports Hub's Sumit Thokar, Suryadarshan's Deepak Rana and Janish Thakali and APF The duo of Bhoj Bahadur Gurung and Pranish Singh Thakuri reached the quarterfinals.
