In the fifth edition of Manjushree Trail Race (MTR), Nepal's Arjun Kulung Rai has become the winner. The main event of the Manjushree Trail, the 100-mile race, was completed by Arjun in the fastest time of 26 hours, 29 minutes, and 25 seconds.

Nepal's Milan Kulung Rai finished second with a time of 28:15:25.3 seconds and Sher Tharu finished third with a time of 28:47:06.2 seconds. Winner Arjun got 75 thousand, Milan got 40 thousand and  Sher received a prize of Rs 20,000.

In the 100 km race, Vishal Rai became the champion with a time of 13:29:04 seconds. In the said event, Gopal Tamang finished the race in 13:39:07 seconds and Niroj Bhatt finished the race in 14:12:35 seconds and won the second and third place . Nepal's Rasila Tamang became the first woman in the 100 km race. Rasila finished the race in 17:58:05 seconds. Choki Sherpa was second in a row with a time of 18:15:05 seconds, with Fleur Moutzwa finishing third with a time of 20:43:05 seconds.

50,000, 25,000 and 15,000 rupees were awarded to the top three runners in the 100 km race .

In the 50 km men's race, Manakumar Rokka Magar (06:42:25 sec) was first, Lokendra Rai (06:46:38 sec) was second and Dhir Bahadur Budha (06:59:59 sec) was third. In the 50 km women's race, Priya Rai stood first, Kalpana Budha stood second and Rajyalakshmi Rawal stood third. Priya completed the prescribed distance in 07:46:05 seconds . Similarly, Kalpana clocked 08:16:06 seconds and Rajyalakshmi clocked 08:40:52 seconds.
