The Nepali Para Athletics team returned home on Friday with a silver medal from the World Para Athletics Grand Prix.
Nepalese athlete Prabha Angdembe won the silver medal in the competition held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, India from March 11 to 13.
Prabha won the silver medal in women's long jump of T-47 category by jumping 3.96 meters. Prabha also participated in long jump and 200m and 400m races.
6 players from Nepal including Prabha were competing. Navraj Karki and Govind Giri competed in men's 400m race, Himal Aryal and Faninarayan Paudel in shot put and Raju Gurung in discus throw. Govind also played in javelin throw.

Vimala Rana Magar was the coach of the team, Anjana Shrestha and Muktinath Adhikari were the officials, Omanath Sivakoti was the manager.
