In the Indo-Nepal T-20 cricket tournament on Thursday, India's Penoris-11 has entered the final by defeating Budhmod Cricket Club by 36 runs.

After winning the toss and batting first at Saraswati Mavi's playground in Mechinagar-4 Bahundangi, Jhapa, Penoris scored 183 runs losing all wickets in 19.5 overs. Subhankar Devanath of Penoris scored the highest 43 runs while Sintu Dev and MD Ahmed contributed 27 runs each, Kumar Roy 25 runs and Vinomali Roy and Arindam Rakshit contributed 17 runs each.

Among the Buddhist mode bowlers, Sujan Rizal took the most 4 wickets. Similarly, Aman Vishwakarma took 3 wickets, Bhola Roy 2 and Romson MD 1 wicket.

Pursuing the target of 184 runs, Buddhmode lost all wickets in the scheduled 20 overs and managed to score only 147 runs. Ramzan MD of Boudhmode scored the highest 40 runs while Sagar Mazumdar scored 29 runs, Roshan Sharma scored 24 runs and Aman Vishwakarma scored 22 runs. The team was disappointed from the semi-finals as other batsmen could not perform well.

Panoris bowlers Rakesh Roy and Sunil Ghos took 3 wickets each, MD Ahmed took 2 wickets and Karanjit Shah and Benomoli Roy took 1 wicket each.

The best player of the game was Shubhankar Devnath of Penoris, who received 1000 in cash and a token of love.

According to Nikesh Dahal, member of Bahundangi Youth Club, the final of this competition, which started on February 21st, will be held on March 4th.
