Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Choudhary has requested not to create confusion that the date has been moved only once since he assumed office.

He arrived in Surkhet during the establishment of the secretariat of the original organizing committee of the 10th National Sports Tournament and said that the date of next May has been proposed so that it will not be postponed. The main organizer of the competition, the National Sports Council (Rakhep) has decided to organize the 10th National Games 2082 from June 3 to 10 in Karnali Province. Rakhep had previously fixed the date from 23rd Chait to 29th. According to Rakhep, the date of May has been fixed after the preparations were not completed in March. 

Sports Minister Choudhary, who is also the Chairman of the Development Board, said that if it is not possible in June, there is no option to do it in June as it will not be possible in June. We have been fleeing since November and have reached June," he said. So now there is no escape. Don't stop under any circumstances. We have not fixed the date of May only for face saving.' 

He says that he has left the other work of the ministry and is engaged in the preparation of the competition. "The sub-committees have been formed, the secretariat of the original organizing committee has been established, the work of calling for tenders has started," said Minister Chowdhury in a conversation with Kantipur, "The competition is for 7 days, but to be safe from the heat, we are managing the time for 15 days from morning to evening."

The sports minister claims that there is a good basis for the event to be held in May. According to him, the budget resources for the tournament are ensured and there is enough time for the activities such as purchase of goods, training of players, etc. From Monday, correspondence will be sent to all the seven state governments to prepare a team of players. Minister Chaudhary said that the message should be conveyed that it is possible to hold the competition in May itself. 

Chief Minister Yamlal Kandel made it clear that the state government is ready to manage the competition to be held in Karnali Province in May. "When the tournament is moved again and again, the players and sports fans are discouraged, 10 thousand people come to Karnali," he said, "we are close to that day," he said, "the original organizing committee needs to emphasize coordination with the state government." 

Chief Minister Kandel said that after the establishment of the secretariat of the original organizing committee in Karnali, the confidence that the competition will be held, said, 'This competition is an opportunity for the people of Karnali, we should make it a success on the scheduled date, it has the full support and cooperation of the state government.'
