Xavier and Herald College won a double win in the Hisan Central Inter College Basketball Championship on Monday. Xavier got a double win in Group 'A' at Rakhep Covered Hall in Tripureshwar on Monday.

Rit Academy was defeated by the score of 58-35 in the first game. Xavier's Pritam Thing scored 10. Xavier defeated Kathmandu World by a score of 54-13 in the second game. Asim Thapa scored 15. In group 'C', Herald beat Kathmandu Valley College 53-28 and Jaya Multiple College 42-15.

Times College beat Rit Academy 43-11 and DAV beat Himalayan College 38-10. While Greenfield defeated Kathmandu Valley College by 45-31, Bernhardt College won against Himalayan College with a score of 51-17.

16 colleges of the valley are participating in the competition which will last till Wednesday. Participating colleges are divided into four groups. The winner and runner-up of each group will advance to the quarterfinals.
