Yeti FC Football Club has won the title of the 14th edition of Kandel Consultancy Cup. In the final of the competition between the Nepali community in Melbourne, the host team Yeti defeated the Royal Western Club by 3-2.

Captain Abhiyan Pradhan, Suman Lama and Tej Tamang from Yeti and Akash Budhamgar and Ravi Thing from Royal scored goals for Royal in the final at Deraween Sports Centre. Player of the final goalkeeper Allan Neupane gave a great performance to win Yeti. Yeti FC got the trophy, 12,000 dollars and the runner-up Royal got 4,500 dollars.  Yeti also won the over-35 event of the

competition. Yeti defeated McArthur Naples Club in the final with a difference of 4-3 goals. Sagar Thapa, Jumanu Rai, Pankaj Lamichhane and Player of the Final Yukesh Shrestha scored for Yeti. Anil Gurung of the defeated team scored 2 goals and Rajesh scored 1 goal. The winner received $2,500 and the runner-up received $1,000. In the individual category of the

title, the players of the host team dominated. Yeti FC's Suman Lama was declared the best player. Meanwhile, Alan Neupane became the best goalkeeper and Ashish Lama became the top scorer. He scored 10 goals in 6 games. Over 35 Sagar Thapa and Anil Gurung won the top scorer award. Sagar was declared the best player of the tournament. That's how Qabus Amatya became the best goalkeeper. They all won 200 dollars. 

Sajjan Sharma, vice president and tournament coordinator of Yeti Football Club, said that 40 teams from different states of Australia are participating.
