The third edition of Nepal Super League (NSL) has got a main sponsor. From now on Ncell will be NSL 2025. Karki Choudhary, chief sponsor of the tournament and Umar Mohsin, commercial officer of Ncell, signed the sponsorship agreement at an event held on Friday.
How much is the sponsor's amount? This is not disclosed. According to tournament director Shreyans Karki, this is a good amount, as there is no such thing as a main sponsor of a tournament like NSL. The contract is for this one version. But both parties see the possibility of its continuation. The
competition will be held in the third week of March. For this, the 'auction' of the players has been done. In a couple of days, the players in the 'C category' will also be drafted. On the occasion of the program, Director Karki claimed that this time the competition will be higher, wider and successful.
Seven teams will participate in this competition. It includes defending champions Lalitpur City FC along with former winners Kathmandu Razors, Jhapa FC, FC Chitwan, Pokhara Thunders, Butwal-Lumbini FC and Dhangadhi FC.
