The departmental team APF Club has won the title of the 2nd Invitational Women's Gold Cup Football Tournament held in Ilam. APF won the title by defeating the departmental rival Tribhuvan Army Club 2-1 in the final on Saturday.

APF's Geeta Rana scored a goal in the 25th minute of the match and gave the team the lead. Savita Ranamar added the second goal.

Army's Vimala Chaudhary scored a goal. After missing the opportunity time and time again, Army became the runner-up . APF received Rs 4 lakh and the Army received Rs 2 lakh as a trophy.

APF's Savita Ranamar was declared the player of the match in the final. She got 5 thousand prize . The players of both teams were awarded in the category. Army's Anjana Rana was selected as the best goalkeeper. She received 10 thousand . The best defender Vimala of the army was sold. She received 10,000 in cash.

The top scorer Rashmikumari Ghising of APF received 10,000 . Renuka Nagarkote of APF, the best midfielder, also got 10,000. Anita Basnet of APF was declared the best player. She received 15 thousand . Eight teams, including one from India, competed in the Gold Cup organized by Club Oasis Elam.
