Women's Gold Cup: Defeated Police in APF final

APF Club of the Armed Police Force has reached the finals of the 2nd Invitational Women's Gold Cup Football Tournament held in Ilam. Defeated the divisional rival Nepal Police Club by 1-0 and became the contender for the APF title.

Rashmikumari Ghising's goal in the semi-final on Thursday in the big game of Elam Bazar was decisive in APF's victory. She scored in the 35th minute of the game.

After that, despite having many opportunities, the team's journey ended when the police failed to return the goal. APF's Anita Basnet, who performed well, was named Player of the Match. She got 5 thousand prize. 

The previous day, Tribhuvan Army Club has reached the final after defeating the host Oasis Club.

The final between APF and Army will be held on Saturday. The winner will win a trophy with Rs 4 lakh and runner-up Rs 2 lakh.
