Sharda municipality has won the title of district-level 15th President's Running Shield held in Narayan Mavi of Kumakh Rural Municipality of the district.
Sharada municipality won the title by winning 15 gold, seven silver and five bronze medals in the district-level presidential running shield organized by the sports development committee and co-organized by Kumakh rural municipality.
Chhatreswari Rural Municipality won 11 gold, four silver and 12 bronze medals and Kumakh Rural Municipality won third place with 10 gold, three silver and three bronze medals, said Khadag Acharya, Chairman of Sports Development Committee Salyan. According to him, after winning 6 gold, 12 silver and 6 bronze, Kapurkot Rural Municipality won the fourth place.
Rohit Shahi and Lakshmi Vick of Kumakh Rural Municipality in male and female volleyball matches, Suresh Singh of Bangad Kupinde Municipality and Bindu Gharti of Chhatreswari Rural Municipality in Kabaddi, Rajesh KC of Sharada Municipality in Athletics, Srijana Vick of Kumakh Rural Municipality, Pramod Budhathoki and Dila Vick of Sharada Municipality were the best in Taekwondo.
