Arnav Chandra of Global Table Tennis Academy and Aarti Chaudhary of the organizer Lalitpur Table Tennis Club have won the title in the 7th Memorial Cup International Table Tennis Tournament. Arnav won the men's and Aarti the women's.

In the men's final at the National Table Tennis Training Center in Lanchaur on Friday, Arnav defeated Tista Torsa Table Tennis Academy's top seed Roy Patwari in 7-11, 11-7, 11-4, 11-5 sets.

On the women's side, Aarti defeated Global's Ananya Santra in straight sets 11-8, 11-4, 11-5. The top three winners of both categories won prizes of 50,000, 25,000 and 10,000 respectively.

In the men's singles over 55 years veteran Kuna Bose of Darjeeling Table Tennis Association defeated the host Kapil Kumar of Lalitpur in 9-11, 11-9, 11-7, 11-6 sets in the tournament under the main sponsorship of Yakkan Laboratory Clinic. Tanmoy Dutt of Darjeeling defeated Samip Shrestha of Kholchapukh by 11-9, 11-7, 11-6 in men's singles over 40 years. The

winner was awarded by Raju Maharjan, spokesperson of Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality and Chairman of Ward 9, Rajna Joshi, the managing director of the main sponsor, Rajana Joshi, Mohandas Basukla, the head coach of table tennis and others.

On the same occasion, Geeta Chhetri, who won gold in the table tennis women's team event under the South Asian Games, was honored with the Lifetimes Achievement Award.
