In the fifth stage of Nepal's first 100-mile KVR stage race challenge organized by Trialmandu on Saturday, Lokendra Rai and Sonima Sherpa became the first on the men's side and on the women's side.

Lokendra Rai completed the prescribed distance in 3 hours 46 minutes and 44 seconds in men's 32 km race which started in Farping and ended in single tri. Pravin Tamling finished second with a time of 3 hours 57 minutes 40 seconds and Ramchandra Mahatara finished the race in 4 hours 08 minutes and third.

Sonima Sherpa, who became the women's champion, completed the race in 5 hours 03 minutes 40 seconds . Similarly, Mai Ban, who came second, finished second in 5 hours, 22 minutes and 08 seconds. Anisha Gurung finished third with a time of 5 hours 51 minutes 44 seconds.

Manjushree trail race will be held from 1st to 3rd of Chait according to the organizer Trialmandu.
