Two-time defending champion Machindra defeated the host KP Oli FC 4-0 in the second semi-final of the KP Oli Cup held at the Dasharath Stadium on Saturday. With this, Machindra will play the final of the KP Oli Cup for the third consecutive time.
Manish Dangi scored the first goal of the game. Sanish Shrestha's pass in the 39th minute saw Manish, who was unmarked, score easily. The second goal went to Roshan Rana.
The next two goals were in the name of Stephen Jally. In the 85th minute, he scored a penalty. After Khemraj Shrestha tackled Yusuf, Machindra got a penalty. His second goal was possible in the 90th minute. Machindra will face Army for the
title. The final will be held at Dasharath Stadium on Monday and will give Machindra a rare opportunity to complete a hat-trick of titles.
