Aarti Chaudhary of the host Lalitpur Table Tennis Club and Srishti Jaiswal of Pacific have reached the semi-finals of the women's singles of the 7th Yakkan Cup International Table Tennis Tournament on Friday.

In the match held at the National Table Tennis Training Center in Lainchour, Aarti defeated Global Table Tennis Academy's Sanchari Chakrabarti 11-8, 11-6 and 11-7 and Srishti defeated Nepal Police's Navita Shrestha in 4-11, 10-12, 14-12, 11-5, 11-5 sets.

In the same event, Global Table Tennis Academy's Sanchuta Chatterjee defeated Darjeeling Table Tennis Association's Prachi Ghosh 11-7, 11-8, 9-11, 14-12 and Global's Ananya Santra defeated Pacific's Gungun Shah by 11-4, 11-13, 11-7, 11-8 to secure a place in the semifinals.

In men's singles, Rahul Malik of the host club defeated Rahul Das of Global in straight sets 11-7, 11-5, 11-9 to secure the semifinals.
