Tejashwi Academy and Wellmont School have won the title of the 8th TOPS inter-school basketball tournament. Tejashwi was champion in Senior Boys and Wellmont Girls.
In the senior boys final at Landmark Academy, Tejashwi defeated Gandaki by 43-30. Tejashwi's Viraj Gurung added 12 scores. Newcomer defeated Wellmont 25-13 to take third place. Newcomer Adesh Bagale scored 12 .
Wellmont defeated Landmark 13-11 in the girls final of the tournament hosted by the Team of Progressive Schools (TOPS). Jesika Gurung of the winner added 7 scores . White Haven won third place with a 13-12 win over Sanskriti Shikshasadan. Haven's Kalpana Oli scored 7 . Deepen Chantyal of Tejashwi was declared as the 'Most Valuable Player' in
Boys and Samsika Pun Magar of Wellmont in Girls. In Boys, Ayush Adhikari of Tejashwi and Saguni Devkota of Landmark in Girls were the top scorers. Ayush scored 57 and Saguni scored 32 .
