The National Sports Council (Rakhep) has fixed a new date for the 10th National Games to be held in Karnali Province.
Rakhep informed that the 121st board meeting held on Thursday under the chairmanship of the youth and sports minister Tejulal Chaudhary decided to hold the 10th National Games from 3rd to 10th May 2082.
Earlier, the 118th board meeting of Rakhap had decided to hold the 10th National Games 2081 from March 23 to 30. Thursday's council meeting also decided to hold the first National Para Games in Kathmandu from May 17 to 21, 2082.
Nepal Olympic Committee has decided to suspend 6 national sports associations participating in the election. The suspended national sports federations include badminton, tennis, cycling, athletics, gymnastics and weightlifting. The Rakhep Board meeting has approved the recommendation made by the Rakhep Executive Committee meeting to suspend six sports associations as an action.
