Police won men's national volleyball title

Police Club has won the title of Sunstar Cup Men's National Volleyball Tournament. Police won the title by defeating Tribhuvan Army Club in the final match held in Liwang on Wednesday.

Police won three out of four sets in the competitive match. Police won the first set 25-18, the third set 25-14 and the fourth set 25-23. Along with the

title, the police received a prize of 5 lakhs and the Sun Star Cup. The runner-up Army got 250,000.

In the first match completed on Wednesday, Koshi Pradesh won the third place by defeating Lumbini. Koshi and Lumbini, who came third and fourth, got Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 respectively.

Sunstar Yuva Club President Poorna KC said that awards were distributed to players in categories such as best players, spikers, defenders, blockers, setters and others. On the occasion of the club's 13th anniversary, a national men's volleyball tournament was organized with the slogan 'For the development of Rolpa's tourism and sports'. Army, police and organizing team participated in the competition along with teams from 4 provinces.

The title of district level women's volleyball tournament has been won by the women's volleyball team of Parivartan rural municipality. 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively  Received by Sunilsmriti Rural Municipality, Rolpa Municipality and Lungri Rural Municipality. They received 55,000, 35,000 and 15,000 prizes respectively, while the consolation team was awarded 10,000 rupees.
