Defending champion Machindra Club has scheduled a trip to the semi-finals of the KP Oli Cup football tournament on Tuesday. Machindra scored a narrow 1-0 victory against FC Transport United of Bhutan in the match at the Anfa Complex ground in Satdobato.

The only goal of the game was in the name of Stephane Jalli. He scored the decisive goal in the 80th minute of the game through the use of a cross by Sanish Shrestha. Along with this, the semi-final equation of the competition has also been completed. Machindra will face host KP Oli FC to reach the final. 

Sankata will play against Tribhuvan Army in the next semi-final. In the first match of the day, Sankata Club, consisting of 10 players, defeated APF Club by 5-3 in the tie breaker.
