The host Bhaktapur NIST School has started with a victory in the third NIST Cup in senior girls' basketball on Tuesday. On the home court, NIST defeated Malpi School with a score of 34-16.
In other girls' matches, Triyog beat Om Gyan Mandir 13-7 and Chelsea World beat Tapobhoomi 22-10.
Buddhist School (BIS) defeated NIST 24-15 in senior boys . In girls, Janpremi World defeated BIS 15-10, Chelsea defeated Nest 'B' 10-3 and Euro School, Koteshwar defeated Himalaya 15-10 .
In junior boys football, Gateway Academy defeated Aminity 6-2, Vedang School defeated Everest Public 5-0 and Nalanda Vidyamandir defeated Kanjirova National 3-0 . Kathmandu World School and Chelsea World played a goalless draw. Madhav Prasad Baral, president of NIST Foundation of
